Glendale Choir

The Glendale is a mixed voice four-part choir which has been in existence for over 100 years.

We welcome new members from any adult age group.
If you already have experience of singing in harmony that's great but it's not essential.
Come along and show us what you can do.

Our musical director is Christabel Harkness and the music we practice and perform ranges from classical to pop and everything in between!

We like to sing for pleasure and we hold regular social events for our members.
Our practices are held most Tuesdays at 7.30pm in Citizens House, Station Road, Consett.

The charge for one of our performances depends on the type of concert required and varies from the cost of transport to an agreed donation.

The choir also holds it's own annual charity concert, normally in April.

To join please email or visit our website for more details.
